I purposely bought one with 2 speeds so I could turn it down and save on power consumption but it is so low that it is not usable in low. I also notice this one is MUCH louder then the last one. I can hear it in the house from behind the garage and that makes NO sense to me. Not sure why it is so loud...It has worked and has been reliable so far.. So this is really a mixed review. Not sure it was worth the extra money for a multi speed pump that I can only use one speed.
